Flat.
I wanted a film holder that works fast and holds film perfectly flat. Couldn't find any, so I made my own. Introducing The Lobster Holder.

Perfectly flat
The holder maximizes contact area around the frame that is clamped down evenly and firmly with two neodymium magnets

Fast
Pressing the front button lifts the upper part and allows for smooth and fast film advancement

Affordable
I design, 3D print and assemble the holders myself. That means I am not dependent on any other supplier and can hold the cost down.

Who am I
My name is Michael and taking photos on an outdated medium using half-broken cameras, and DIY has been my hobby for decades. I've been falling in and out of love for analog photography for years now and when I took the final plunge, I quickly realized that film holders for DSLR scanning are either ridiculously overprized or don't work well. After trying a couple of affordable options an idea for The Lobster Holder has come up. I shared the prototypes with my community of other film junkies, who loved it, so I decided to offer it to a wider audience.
