My name is Michael, founder and designer of the Lobster Holder. Taking photos on an outdated medium using half-broken cameras, and DIY has been my hobby for decades. I've been falling in and out of love for analog photography for years now and when I took the final plunge, I quickly realized that film holders for DSLR scanning are either ridiculously overprized or don't work well. After trying a couple of affordable options an idea for The Lobster Holder has came up. I shared the prototypes with my community of other film junkies, who loved it, so I decided to offer it to a wider audience.
