The Lobster Holder and its accessories are made from high-quality PLA material, but this also entails a few basic usage guidelines and warnings:

Temperature Caution: Do not expose the product to temperatures exceeding 50 °C (122 °F), as this may cause deformation and permanent damage. This includes keeping the product out of direct sunlight, which could heat it up.
Pressure Warning: Avoid exposing the product to excessive mechanical pressure or impact to prevent damage.
If any damage occurred during transport, please contact us immediately after receiving the package and finding out. We cannot accept exchanges or claims for product deformation reported a significant time (two and more weeks) after delivery.

All products are shipped from the Czech Republic (European Union).

All orders for our products are processed and shipped out usually in 2-10 business days.

Most of the orders are shipped by the DHL Express, which delivers packages worldwide very quickly (usually 2 to 5 business days).

Shipping cost is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

You figured 120 film is not expensive enough for you and you got to the large format. After shooting 10 bangers on Portra 400 you realized you have no idea how to scan it. Well let me help you with that.

This is a holder specifically for 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 cut film that doesn't need an ANR glass to hold the film perfectly flat. Have a film in an unusual format and no holder to fit? Feel free to get in touch — I’m sure we can come up with a solution together!

So far my experience with this sheet holder is extremely good. The 4x5 holder holds film with a good amount of tension and unlike other offerings the sheet won't slide out if you look at it wrong. You can even poke at the sheet with some force and the magnets will keep it in place. 10/10

Ich habe eine spezielle Größe des Filmhalters (Holders) für 9 x 12 bestellt. Die Kommunikation war ausgezeichnet, auch an einem Freitag-Abend! Die Qualität ist sehr überzeugend, ist passgenau und hält meine Planfilme plan und ist sehr gut und einfach zu handhaben! Ein kleines Problem mit den Magneten, was ich letztlich selbst beheben konnte, wurde sehr schnell mit einer Neulieferung geregelt. Und das, obwohl ich die erfolgreiche Selbsthilfe mitgeteilt hatte, aber Humrprints hat auf Lieferung eines makellosen Filmhalters bestanden ;) ) Das ist außergewöhnlicher Service und überzeugendes Qualitätsbestreben! Dabei war ich ja schon froh, daß sie "Sondergrößen" auf Wunsch herstellen. 9 x 12 cm ist in Europa durchaus gebräuchlich, aber die großen Hersteller aus Übersee ignorieren diese Größe komplett.

I love the Lobster Holder! I think this very close to perfect for mounting 4x5 sheets for digitizing. The film is very flat, the clamp is strong enough, the sheet is only touched at the very edges (about 5mm)... perfect. Having zero glass involved - floating the sheet in the air, essentially - means that no optical compromises are introduced with extra transitions between refractive media. I am going to check out the extra modules for different film formats!
